Annual Senior Pre-Derby Extravaganza will be held in April

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will host its Annual Senior Pre-Derby Extravaganza April 17 at 11 a.m. at the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 West Broadway.

The event “is an opportunity for our seniors to celebrate the Kentucky Derby and strengthen relationships,” said an announcement from the OMM.

The activities will include celebrity stick horse races and a Derby hat style show and contest. Prizes will be awarded to winners of the contest.

Tickets are $7 per person and can be purchased April 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets will not be sold at the door. For more information, contact the CEC at 776-0262.
