Annual Festival of Faiths will focus on ‘Feminine Wisdom’

The Center for Interfaith Relations will hold the 2018 Festival of Faiths Launch Event — LISTEN! Feminine Wisdom on Jan. 27.

The free kickoff event will feature a multi-faith intergenerational  group of women who will “share their wisdom and insight on the spiritual practice of listening.” Through storytelling, music and performance, “attendees will discover the transformative power of attentive listening.”

Speakers will include Sister of Charity of Nazareth Rose Howard, Rabbi Nadia Siritsky, Hannah Drake, Kim Baker, Shaikha Camille Helminski, Rev. C.J. Wright and Brianna Harlan.

The program will be held at the Brown Theatre, 315 West Broadway. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the program will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. The launch event is free but tickets are required. Register at festivaloffaiths.org.

Passes for the 2018 Festival of Faiths — set for April 24 to 28 — “Sacred Insight — Feminine Wisdom,” will be available for purchase at the Brown Theatre Box Office at the launch event.
