Annual Community Health Fair will include free health screenings

The Office of Multicultural Ministry’s Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 West Broadway, will host its annual Community Family Health Fair on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The fair will include free health screenings (including blood pressure and diabetes screenings), healthy living tips, safety information and much more.

The Norton Healthcare Prevention and Wellness Mobile Unit will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to provide mammograms from women ages 40 and over and wellness exams for women ages 40-65. Call 899-6842 to schedule an appointment; space is limited. Funding is available for those who are uninsured. Exams will be billed for those with insurance.

The event is an implementation of the Archdiocese of Louisville’s strategic plan and is made possible through the Catholic Services Appeal.
