The third annual Reaching Individuals Behind and Beyond the Bars Conference will take place April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive.
The conference, which is sponsored in part by Catholic Charities of Louisville, is designed for individuals interested in prison ministry and mentoring those recently released from prison.
The keynote speaker will be Rev. Lee A. Schott, pastor of Women at the Well, a congregation within the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women.
The day will also include workshops on various topics including jail and prison ministry and addiction.
