A naval aviator

Hayley Hobbs, a 2011 graduate of Mercy Academy, has been accepted in the Naval Officer Flight Training Program in Pensacola, Fla. She is currently a senior at the SUNY Maritime College where she has studied naval architecture with a focus on ship design. When she graduates in May, Hobbs will be commissioned as an ensign and will begin an eight-year commitment to the Navy. Hobbs also attended St. Edward School.
