James Patrick and Mary Phillis Pike, members of St. Paul Church, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 16. Mrs. Pike, the former Mary Hardesty, is a homemaker. Mr. Pike is a retired barber and maintenance mechanic. The couple have six children, 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Joseph Michael and Marlene Evelyn Clarke Steffen, members of St. Raphael Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 12. Mrs. Steffen works as a senior manager in the facilities department at the University of Louisville. Mr. Steffen is a biology professor at the University of Louisville. The couple have two sons.
