Karen Brady, a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church in Calvary, Ky., and her family attended Pope Leo XIV’s first papal audience during a visit to Rome for the Jubilee Year of Hope.

“We will never forget that experience and seeing the new pope in the holy seat of the Catholic Church. It was such a blessing,” Brady said in an interview via email.
