Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pate, members of St. Margaret Mary Church, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 23. Mrs. Pate, the former Sue Kirk, retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education. Mr. Pate retired from VITOK Engineers. The couple have four children and 10 grandchildren.
