St. Leonard Community School and St. Margaret Mary School were among robotics teams who competed in the FIRST LEGO League Regional Tournament at Oldham County Middle School on Dec. 1.
One of St. Leonard Community School’s Robotics Teams won trophies for Best Robot Performance and Best Mechanical Design. The team includes one eighth grader, three sixth graders, and four fourth graders.
St. Margaret Mary’s team, which includes fifth- and sixth-grade students, won the Research Award.
The teams will compete in the Kentucky FIRST LEGO League Championship Tournament on Feb. 2 at Northern Kentucky University.
