Catholic Charities will offer volunteer ombudsmen training

Catholic Charities of Louisville will offer a training program in late October for those interested in visiting long-term care facilities as ombudsmen.

The certified long-term care ombudsman training course will be offered on Oct. 20 and 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Bon Air branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, 2816 Del Rio Place. Volunteer ombudsmen help protect the rights of nursing home residents.

To learn more or to register, visit cclou.org or contact Essie Reilly at 637-9786 or ereilly@archlou.org by Oct. 1.
