Bellarmine University adds doctoral program in health professions

Bellarmine University announced June 20 that the school has added a new doctoral program to its College of Health Professions.

The new doctor of philosophy in health professions education is designed for working professionals. The program will prepare students from diverse healthcare backgrounds to teach in colleges, universities and clinical settings, or to pursue careers in leadership and research, according to a press release from the school.

Students may start the program in August or wait for the start of another cohort in January of 2019, said the release. The new program is the university’s sixth doctoral program.
