Refugee rally fills rotunda

Advocates, above and below, attending the fifth annual Kentucky Refugee and Immigrant Day at the Capitol in Frankfort overflowed the rotunda. Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, who spoke during the event, acknowledged his own immigrant roots and said of immigration, “Every human being deserves to be treated with respect and with the dignity that God has given them. And you and I need to be part of that effort to treat people with dignity.”
