Service of remembrance for 2016 homicide victims will be held Dec. 7

RecordLogo-FSt. Augustine Church, 1310 West Broadway, will host a Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 to honor victims of homicide in Louisville this year.

The service will include a reading of the more than 100 names of this year’s victims, music, Scripture and a reflection written by The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

A representative of the Louisville Metro Police Department and the families of two victims plan to speak at the event.

The service will be in the parish’s Hines Center and all are welcome.
