Mercy students create committee for kindness

Mercy-Academy-Logo-wA group of Mercy Academy students created the Small Acts, Strong Hearts (SASH) Committee, at the start of the school year, with the goal of “spreading kindness and happiness throughout the school each day,” according to a statement from the school.

Students, faculty and staff are asked to fill out a “SASH slip” whenever they see someone performing an act of kindness. The slip is entered into a monthly drawing.
