High schools win journalism awards for yearbook

The Kentucky High School Journalism Association has awarded two high schools several honors for their yearbooks

  • In the class A division, Mercy Academy’s yearbook “The Cat’s Eye,” won first place for cover design and theme development; second place for use of graphics, writing style, design and coverage; and third place for photography and advertisements.
  • In the class AA division, Assumption High School’s yearbook “The Rosecast” won first place for writing style; second place for cover design, overall design and theme development; and third place for use of graphics and advertisements.
