Thomas Merton’s 99th birthday will be observed at Bellarmine University’s Horrigan Hall on Feb. 9 at 2 p.m.
The celebration will feature a preview of Morgan Atkinson’s latest film project, called “The Many Lives and Last Days of Thomas Merton.” The presentation will include the first showing of an interview Atkinson conducted with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The event is free and open to the public.
