St. Agnes School, which was established on Jan. 5, 1914, will be celebrating its centennial early next year with events planned Jan. 3-5. The school is currently trying to locate alumni.
St. Agnes’ librarian, Margi Johnstone, is currently collecting photos and documents from the school’s past and interviewing alumni for a centennial video that will be shared at the January events. The events will include a special dinner with Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, who founded the school. And individual class reunions are being planned.
Alumni of St. Agnes are invited to register at a website, www.stagneslouisvillealumni.org, established to share centennial event information and help alumni connect to the school in the future. Alumni may also contact the school secretary, Connie Holt, at 458-2850, to receive an invitation to the centennial events.
