Last week, Catholics around the world had the opportunity to celebrate the back-to-back feast days of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

A 55-hour weekend of Eucharistic Adoration held in the adoration chapel at St. Edward Church June 11-13 drew more than 250 people, who knelt before the Blessed Sacrament in prayer and commemorated the feast days.

“It fills my heart with joy that so many souls came to comfort our Lord and His Blessed Mother,” said Mandy Bifone, chair of St. Edward’s adoration committee.
