34th annual ‘Walk for Life’ will be held on Sept. 8

The Kentucky Right to Life Association will host its 34th annual “Walk for Life” Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. The walk will begin at St. Martin of Tours Church, 639 S. Shelby St., and then will proceed over a five kilometer or three-mile course.

The Walk for Life attracts pro-life supporters from the Louisville area to provide what Kentucky Right to Life called in a press release about the event a “peaceful witness to the sanctity of human life.”  Margie Montgomery, executive director of the Kentucky Right to Life Association, said in the release that the organization is “grateful beyond measure for our dedicated and generous supporters who, year after year, make this commitment, especially now in these difficult economic times.”

Information and pledge sheets can be found at the group’s website at www.krla.org, or by calling 895-5959.
