Kindergarten Countdown event will take place around town

RecordLogo-FKindergarten Countdown,a series of events for students entering kindergarten, will be hosted at various locations in Louisville throughout the year.
Children entering kindergarten will receive a free T-shirt, which will serve as a ticket into events for the child and an accompanying adult.

The next events are:
March 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Kentucky Science Center will have a free playdate, “where preschoolers are free to investigate, build, experience and share.”
March 16 from 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m., the Louisville Free Public Library, Iroquois branch, 601 W. Woodlawn Ave., will have a family storytime focusing on kindergarten readiness skills.
March 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Louisville Water Tower Park, 3005 River Road, will have a family education event in the WaterWorks Museum and a guided walking tour.
