Theology of the Body II workshop to begin in Oct.

St. Peter the Apostle Church will host the 16-session  “Theology of the Body II: Into the Heart,” beginning next month. The Theology of the Body is based on a series of 129 talks given by St. John Paul II.

The program will address two fundamental questions: “What does it mean to be a human person?” and “How can I live my life in a way that satisfies the deepest hunger in my soul?”

The dates are: Oct. 6, 13, 20; Nov. 3, 10, 17; Dec. 1; Jan. 5, 12, 19; Feb. 2, 9, 16; and March 1, 8 and 15. Attendees may choose between morning sessions from 10 a.m. to noon or evening sessions from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The sessions will be held at the parish at 5931 Johnsontown Road. Cathy Blandford, pastoral associate for lifelong formation at St. Peter the Apostle, will serve as facilitator. To register, visit spaff.org or call the parish office at 937-5920, ext. 17.

Theology of the Body I is a prerequisite for attending Theology of the Body II.
