Tek4Kids will host informational meeting July 29 in New Albany, Ind.

Tek4Kids, which provides technological education to children in Haiti through the use of laptop computers and iPads, will host an informational meeting about the program July 29 at 7 p.m. at 418 E. Main Street, New Albany, Ind.

There will be five people from Haiti who will speak at the session, including the principal of St. Louis High School in Jérémie, Haiti. Others include: a Haitian priest who is the curriculum coordinator for St. Louis High School, a French seminarian who is a teacher at the technical school next to the high school, a Haitian Tek4Kids technical coordinator who is responsible for management and developing content for the iPad and the Tek4Kids education coordinator.

These individuals are visiting Louisville to attend further educational training at Bellarmine University.
