‘Surviving the Holidays’ seminar set for Nov. 30 at St. Bernadette Church

A seminar on “Surviving the Holidays in the Midst of Divorce” will be held at St. Bernadette Church, 6500 St. Bernadette Avenue, Nov. 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The event will include a 40-minute video with “practical tips on how to survive the holidays,” according to a statement from the church. There will also be opportunities for participants to hear from others who have been through a divorce.

Registration and a donation of $4 will be appreciated, but not required. A “holiday survival guide” will be provided for each attendant.

“Our hope is that all participants leave with an awareness that others care and support them through this journey and be reminded of the hope God gives to each of us,” said the statement. Participants are welcome to bring a friend.
