St. Xavier High School’s annual fund-raising event, this year called “Legacy — A Gala of Giving,” will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the school’s gymnasium on Poplar Level Road.
The gala will feature a dinner and silent auction for parents, alumni and friends, and includes a drawing for a $40,000 grand prize.
The event will also feature presentation of the St. Francis Xavier Award, which this year will be given to Jerry Plappert, who graduated from the school in 1971.
Reservations are available for $250 per couple, and grand prize tickets are $250 each — only 400 will be sold. Proceeds from the event support the educational programs at the school. For reservations, call 637-8485, or visit www.saintx.com/legacy.
