St. Vincent de Paul breakfast will benefit new music program

SVDPRecord Staff Report

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will host a breakfast and open house at its Family Success Center, 1029 S. Preston St., from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Nov. 1 to benefit a new after-school music program.

Funds from the event will be used to purchase recorders, music stands, supplies and an electric piano for the program, which will serve children from the Smoketown and Shelby Park communities.

The suggested donation is $5 per plate. The event will include guided tours of the facility. St. Vincent de Paul merchandise will also be available for sale.
