St. James School in Elizabethtown to host passion play next month

RecordLogo-FThe eighth-grade class at St. James School in Elizabethtown, Ky., will present the “Passion of Christ” during Holy Week. The performances will be held at 7 p.m. April 12 and 9:30 a.m. April 13 at St. James Church.

Both of the school’s eighth-grade classes —totaling 32 students — take part in the production, as well as Father Martin Linebach, St. James pastor, and Father Shayne Duvall, associate pastor.

The students have been rehearsing for the play since January with the help of teachers and volunteers.
Both performances of the “Passion of Christ” are free and open to the public. Attendees should plan to arrive early; seating is limited.
