Sister of Loretto to make final vows

Sister of Loretto Natalie Wing

Sister of Loretto Natalie Wing, 48, will profess final vows as a Sister of Loretto at the Foot of the Cross on April 28 during a 10 a.m. Mass at the Church of the Seven Dolors on the grounds of the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse in Nerinx, Ky.

Sister Wing, a native of Fresno, Ca., has served indigenous people in Guatemala for the past three years and is now ministering in Oaxaca, Mexico. Prior to her missionary service, Sister Wing served as a chaplain in Springfield, Ky.

She joined the Sisters of Loretto in 2003 as a novice. She made first vows in 2006.

She holds several post-graduate degrees, including a masters in human relations from Louisiana Tech University, a masters in business from California State University in Fresno and a masters in applied theology from Maryhurst University in Oregon.
