Sister Angeline Driscoll dies at 91

Sister of Charity of Nazareth Angeline Driscoll died at Nazareth Home on July 25. She was 91 and had been a Sister of Charity of Nazareth for 69 years.

Sister Driscoll, a native of Roanoke, Va., served in elementary education as a teacher and principal in Kentucky for 32 years. In the Archdiocese of Louisville, she taught at St. Frances of Rome School from 1971 to 1975.

After she retired, Sister Driscoll volunteered and served in the apostolate of prayer.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews and religious community.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 31 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Vincent Church on the campus of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in Nazareth, Ky. Burial will be in Nazareth Cemetery.

Visitation will be July 30 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and after 4 p.m. in St. Vincent Church. A prayer service will be conducted in the church at 6:30 p.m.
