Serra Club’s ‘Pray for a Priest’ program looking for new participants

The Serra Club of Louisville’s “Pray for a Priest” program is in need of some additional support from the people of the Archdiocese of Louisville.

The program has a simple goal — it is intended to get the people of the archdiocese to pray regularly for the priests who are serving God, the Church and its people.

For a one-time donation of $12, people will receive a packet which includes a picture of a priest, a card to be sent to him, and a rubber bracelet that will serve to remind the donor to pray for the priest regularly.

Also included will be information to allow the donor to contact the priest. To take part in the program, send $12, your name, address, city, zip code, phone number and parish to: The Serra Club of Louisville, attention Neil Manias, 4524 Dove Park Blvd., Louisville, Ky. 40299. For more information, call 267-5011.
