The Saint Meinrad Alumni Association is hosting the fourth annual Saint Meinrad Day of Service on March 11 in 11 cities including Louisville.
In Louisville, events will take place at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Open Hand Kitchen, 1026 S. Jackson St., starting at 8:45 a.m. and at Catholic Charities’ Office for Refugees Distribution Center, 2222 W. Market St. starting at 10 a.m. Each site will incorporate some time for prayer, in addition to the day’s service project.
There is no cost to participate and each volunteer will receive a free T-shirt and lunch, courtesy of the alumni association. Participants do not have to be Saint Meinrad alumni to take part in the day of service.
