Region IV Spring Encounter set for April 20-22

The Archdiocese of Louisville Cursillo will be hosting the Region IV Spring Encounter April 20-22 at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive.

The event is held each year and allows Cursillo Movement leaders and spiritual advisors from a six-state area to meet and discuss ways to enhance the Cursillo experience in their respective communities.

This year’s encounter is led by the Region IV Service Team, and will include continuing education in all phases of the Cursillo Movement. It will also include opportunities for continued spiritual formation through participation in the Mass, chapel visitations, and community and individual prayer.

Small group discussions will be held to provide ways of learning how each Cursillo center can “better serve their respective communities by continuing to carry out the mission of Cursillo … to share the ‘Good News’ of Christ’s love for all, which is evangelization,” according to a news release from Louisville Cursillo.

Everyone is invited to the encounter’s closing Mass, which will be held at 8 a.m. April 22 and be celebrated by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, Father Al Wilson of Louisville and Father Alex Waraksa of Knoxville, Tenn.
