Parish marks 160th anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes

Our Lady of Lourdes School and Church celebrated the 160th anniversary of the first appearance of Our Lady in Lourdes France on Feb. 8 (the actual date was Feb. 11, 1858). Fifth graders Madeline Freeman, left, played the role of the child-visionary St. Bernadette Soubirous and Morgan Locke represented Our Lady during a school liturgy. Children in the religious formation program prayed a living rosary in celebration of the feast day. (Photo Special to The Record)
