‘Multicultural Women’s Day of Reflection’ to be Oct. 4

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will present a “Multicultural Women’s Day of Reflection” on Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive.

The day’s presenters will include keynote speaker Sister of Social Service Eva Marie Lumas. Father John Judie will celebrate the liturgy. The two general sessions during the day will focus on “Celebrating the Breadth of Diversity” and “Sisters in the Spirit.”

Workshops will be available on the following topics:
“Strengthening Our Bond.”
“The New Evangelization & Women.”
“Women of Faith.”
“Family Diversity.”
“Worshiping as a Diverse Family.”
“Here I Am, Use Me.”
“Praying Women.”
“Welcoming Diversity In Our Midst.”

There will also be programs for children from kindergarten to 12th grade.

The registration fee is $25 for adults, $10 for sixth- through 12th-graders and $5 for kindergartners through fifth-graders. The cost includes breakfast and lunch.
