Mount St. Joseph Ursuline Sister Mary Cabrini Foushee dies

OSU-MSJ-Logo-2016Ursuline Sister of Mount St. Joseph Mary Cabrini Foushee, 85, died July 27 at Mount Saint Joseph in Maple Mount, Ky. She was in her 66th year of religious life.

Sister Foushee, a native of Ekron, Ky., served as an educator for 52 years in Kentucky and Nebraska. In the Archdiocese of Louisville, she taught at St. Columba School from 1952 to 1957 and served as a principal and teacher at St. Christopher School in Radcliff, Ky., from 1975 to 1985.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Laverne Fackler of Webster, Ky., Therese Frances Knowlton of Hendersonville, N.C., and Mary Martina Brown of Louisville; nieces and nephews; and her religious community.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. July 29 at Mount St. Joseph.
