Monte Cassino Shrine pilgrimages set for October

St. Meinrad Archabbey in Southern Indiana will lead pilgrimages to the nearby Monte Cassino Shrine in honor of the Blessed Mother on Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26.

The shrine is located one mile east of St. Meinrad on state highway 62 in St. Meinrad, Ind.

The pilgrimages, set for 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time, will include hymns, a short sermon, a rosary procession and the litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The
speakers and topics planned for each pilgrimage are:

Oct. 5 — Benedictine Noël Mueller will speak about “Mary, Virgin of Mercy.”
Oct. 12 — Benedictine Father Sean Hoppe will speak on “Mary, Mother of Life.”
Oct. 19  — Benedictine Father Timothy Sweeney will speak on “Mary at the Cross.”
Oct. 26 — Benedictine Brother André DeDecker will speak on “Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary.”
