The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Family Ministries Office has formed a local chapter of Courage, a ministry that provides “spiritual support for Catholic men and women with same-sex attraction who desire to lead chaste lives consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church,” an announcement from the archdiocese said.
The ministry provides confidential spiritual support-group meetings.
The archdiocese also has a local chapter of EnCourage, a ministry for the parents, siblings, children and other relatives and friends of people who experience same-sex attraction.
The ministry includes discussion, prayer and fellowship in a confidential group setting.
