KentuckyOne president and CEO, Ruth Brinkley, will step down July 14

RecordLogo-FKentuckyOne Health announced May 19 that its president and chief executive officer, Ruth Brinkley, will step down July 14.

The health system announced May 12 that it plans to sell several Louisville-area facilities, including Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Jewish Hospital, which it has own since 2012. KentuckyOne announced earlier this year plans to divest the University of Louisville Hospital.

UofL Hospital’s interim president, Chuck Neumann, will become interim president and CEO of KentuckyOne, according to a news release from KentuckyOne. His university role will end on July 1.

An announcement from KentuckyOne expressed gratitude for Brinkley’s service and lauded the more than 40-years of experience Neumann will bring to his role with KentuckyOne.
