Kentucky Right to Life state convention will take place Nov. 14

The Kentucky Right to Life Association’s (KRLA) state convention will take place Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 830 Phillips Lane.
Convention speakers will include:

  • Father Tadeusz Pacholczyk, director of education for the National Catholic Bioethics Center. Father Pacholczyk is a priest of the Diocese of Fall River, Mass.
  • Dr. Angela Franks, who holds a doctorate in systematic theology, is the author of “Margaret Sanger’s Eugenic Legacy: The Control of Female Fertility.”
  • Dr. William L. Toffler is the national director of the pro-life Physicians for Compassionate Care Education Foundation.

This year’s KRLA state convention “seeks to clarify, from the sanctity of human life perspective, the complex issues surround end of life care,” a news release from the organization said. Tickets, which include a luncheon, are $40 for adults and $25 for students. To register, visit www.krla.org.
