The Kentucky Council of Churches will host its 66th Annual Assembly Oct. 24 and 25 at the Kentucky Dam Village State Park in Gilbertsville, Ky.

It is not necessary to be a delegate of the assembly to attend; all church leaders are welcome. The theme of the assembly is “Civil Dialogue.”

The keynote speakers will be Renee Shaw of Kentucky Educational Television and Dr. Kathryn Johnson of Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. Workshops will cover a range of topics such as skills for dialogue, ecumenical dialogue, the role of social media and conversations with Muslims.

Register online at www.kycouncilofchurches.org/register-for-assembly. The fee for the conference is $85. Contact Vennie Constant at kcc@kycouncilofchurches.org or 502-456-1986 for more information.
