Hildegard House seeks volunteers to help prepare for grand opening

Hildegard House is looking for volunteers for “Sunday Service” to clean, sort donations and get rooms ready for residents every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in preparation for the home’s opening in January.

Hildegard House, 114 Adams St., provides “compassion and care at the end of life to individuals who have no loved ones or home so that they may die with dignity,” according to a statement from the organization.

A ribbon cutting and interfaith house blessing will take place Jan. 23. For more information or to volunteer call 797-7411 or go to www.hildegardhouse.org.
