About a dozen people prayed the rosary on a misty Nov. 4 morning along West Market Street in front of the EMW Women’s Surgical Center, which offers abortion. The group, which included Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, center, was taking part in the international 40 Days for Life campaign, which keeps vigil outside the center 24 hours a day for 40 days. Louisville typically hosts the campaign in the fall and during Lent. The fall campaign began Sept. 27 and ended Nov. 5.
