Dominican Sister of Peace Teresa Wolfe, 93, died on Aug. 7 at Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, Ky. She had been a Dominican for 72 years.
Sister Wolfe, a native of Carroll, Iowa, ministered in education, as a chaplain and in pastoral care in Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. In 1993, she moved to St. Catharine Motherhouse in St. Catharine, Ky., where she was assistant coordinator at Sansbury Care Center and later served as assistant to the archivist at the Motherhouse.
She is survived by her cousins and members of her religious community.
The visitation will be Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Sansbury Care Center Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the center’s chapel. Burial will follow at the St. Catharine Motherhouse cemetery.
