Dominican Sister of Peace Geraldine Flattery, 83, died April 10 at Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, Ky.
Sister Flattery, a native of West Lynn, Mass., had been a religious for 62 years.
She ministered as a teacher in New York, West Virginia, Illinois and Massachusetts. She entered the ministry of prayer at Sansbury Care Center in 2010.
She is survived by her niece and nephew. Visitation will begin April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Sansbury Care Center Chapel. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. April 15 at the chapel. Burial will follow at the St. Catharine Motherhouse cemetery.
