Diaconate Office will host information sessions

The Diaconate Office invites those accepted into the 2020 class as well as those still in the application process for the permanent diaconate to attend a discernment evening session. Spouses of men interested in the diaconate are encouraged to attend these sessions as well. The remaining discernment evenings are Jan. 15 at St. Paul, 6901 Dixie Highway; March 19 at St. Aloysius Church, 212 Mount Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley; and May 20 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1960 Bardstown Road. All sessions are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Diaconate Office will also host information sessions, which are designed to present an overview of what the permanent diaconate is about, the role of the wife, the application and selection processes, the timeline and structure of the program. The remaining information sessions for the 2020 diaconate class are Jan. 18 at St. Raphael Church, 2141 Lancashire Avenue; and March 1 at St. Louis Bertrand Church, 1104 S. Sixth Street. All information sessions are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
