Committee is planning for a women’s conference

Plans are underway to hold a “Women’s Conference for the Archdiocese of Louisville” sometime in 2015.

An organizational committee, led by Barbara Klump and Maureen Larison, are leading the effort along with others, and they have reached the point where feedback from women across the archdiocese is needed.

As a result, the committee will hold a series of three information sessions about the proposed conference. The dates and locations for the sessions are:

-August 6 at 7 p.m. at St. Agnes Church’s Aloysius Hall, 1920 Newburg Road.
-August 23 at 10 a.m. in the Adult Center at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 508 Breckenridge Lane.
-And at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky.

For additional information, call Tracy Johnson, a member of the organizational committee, at 777-9299.
