Children invited to enter Hibernians’ annual St. Patrick Coloring Contest

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is once again sponsoring its annual St. Patrick Coloring Contest for students in kindergarten through fourth-grade.

Entry forms are available at https://www.louisvilleirish.com/in-the-community/st-patricks-coloring-contest.

They must be submitted by Feb. 24 to AOH Coloring Contest, 4028 Brookfield Ave., Louisville, Ky., 40207.

Three winners will be chosen from each grade, in addition to one grand-prize winner. The winner from each grade and the grand-prize winner will be recognized at a Mass in honor of St. Patrick at St. Louis Bertrand Church on March 11 at noon.

After Mass, all winners and their families will be able to ride in the St. Patrick’s Parade on Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road. The parade starts at 3 p.m.

Each winner will receive his or her framed entry and a coloring contest T-shirt. The grand prize winner also receives a $100 cashier’s check.
