Bethlehem High seeking Hall of Fame nominations

Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Ky., is seeking nominations for its Hall of Fame, Star Award and Alumnus of the Year Award. Honorees will be recognized at the school’s annual Hall of Fame Banquet set for Aug. 10.

Hall of Fame awards are presented to a Bethlehem alumni, living or deceased, for “a culmination of their outstanding contributions and achievements,” a press release from the school said. Nominees, who must have graduated at least 10 years ago, must be “exceptionally loyal and devoted” to the school.

The Star Award is presented annually to an individual, living or deceased, who has contributed significantly to the Bethlehem community but is not an alumnus. The awardee will have “devoted tremendous time and talent behind the scenes for BHS, making our school a wonderful place for our faculty and students,” the release said.

The Alumnus of the Year Award will be presented to “an alumnus, living or deceased, who has contributed to his or her community and enriched lives of those around him or her. As a graduate of BHS, his or her outstanding accomplishments bring distinction to the school and the strong foundations it fosters in young men and women,” the release said.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Bethlehem website, www.bethlehemhigh.org, under the alumni link. Forms and supporting documentation should be submitted by March 29 to Patty Nevitt,
Bethlehem Alumni Director, 309 W. Stephen Foster Avenue, Bardstown, Ky., 40004, or pnevitt@bethlehemhigh.org.
