Bellarmine’s black history lecture to be given Feb. 24 by C. Vanessa White

Bellarmine University’s 10th annual Thomas Merton Black History Month Lecture will be presented on Feb. 24 by C. Vanessa White.

White is a secular Franciscan, catechist and retreat minister. She will discuss the topic “Do Not Quench the Spirit: Thomas Merton, Howard Thurman and the Quest Toward Racial Reconciliation and Peace.”

Her presentation will be held at 7 p.m. in Hilary’s, in Bellarmine’s Horrigan Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public.
