‘Behind and Beyond Bars’ prison ministry conference set for March 2

The fifth annual “Reaching Individuals: Behind and Beyond Bars” will be held March 2 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Hotel Louisville, 120 W. Broadway. 

The conference which is sponsored in part by Catholic Charities of Louisville is designed for individuals interested in prison ministry and mentoring those recently released from prison.

The keynote speaker will be Jessie Halladay, secretary of the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The conference will also feature workshops on various topics, including expungement and employment.
