Archdiocese gains two new priests

Fathers Michael Martin and Casey Sanders were ordained priests for the Archdiocese of Louisville on May 27 at the Cathedral of the Assumption by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz.

Father Martin has been assigned as associate pastor of St. Augustine Church in Lebanon, Ky., and Holy Name of Mary Church in Calvary, Ky. He will celebrate his first Mass of Thanksgiving tomorrow, May 28, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 3511 Rudd Avenue.

Father Sanders has been assigned as associate pastor of St. James Church in Elizabethtown, Ky. His first Mass of Thanksgiving will also be tomorrow, May 28, at 3 p.m. at St. Michael Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive.
